Travel

There's no reliable fast-travel, but there are options depending on money and position and location.

• If you were on foot, traveling from the coast of Eniya to the coast of Kimarel straight across Enchiron, it might take 8-10 months, depending on how you're getting around or through the Coronus mountains.

• If you're riding in a horse-drawn caravan (or using a mount of similar skill), it takes half the time. This is the most common form of travel. If your horse isn't hauling anything, then that number drops to about 3 months.

• There are a few species of megafauna that are more difficult to procure that can cover distance faster, in 1-2 months.

• A tamed gryphon or dragon--species that can fly--can cross the continent in maybe a week, depending how hard you push it.

You also see a really generous guest culture all across Enchiron because travel is slower. Guests are usually staying in your house for at least a week, sometimes months.
